How export controls play a starring role in the current environment

Seasoned speakers from the U.S. Government and industry will lead participants a series of topics highlighting how export controls are playing a major role in the current state of global affairs and how you can maintain compliance in this new normal.  Over the course of the virtual three days, you will hear keynote addresses from speakers across the U.S. Government and the Hill and engage in discussions focusing on advanced topics including Part 130 compliance, the Foreign Direct Product rule, and OFAC sanctions, as well as hear updates from the U.S. Government on current regulatory changes that are in the works.   Our Spring Advanced Conference will partner U.S. Government officials and experienced industry leaders to provide insight in managing these advanced export control issues.   Staying up to date with export control policy and related regulations will further your understanding of the complexities of related business transactions and will help you to better support your company’s international business.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Attendees are responsible for making their own event registrationRegistration must be guaranteed with a major credit card or check prior to the start of the Webinar. If paying by check, please contact the SIA Business Office at sia@siaed.org and your account will be updated accordingly so your registration is not cancelled. 

CUT-OFF DATE Registration will close on  May 13, 2022
SUBSTITUTIONS Attendee must notify SIA’s Business Manager by email at least 48 hrs in advance of the conference if you wish to send a substitute participant. Registered attendees may not "share" a single registration.
CANCELLATIONS Notice of cancellation must be in writing prior to the start of the event - please send all cancellation requests to sia@siaed.org.

Refunds will be issued back to the method of payment minus a $35.00 cancellation fee.

REFUND REQUESTS AS A RESULT OF TECHNICAL ISSUES

It is the responsibility of the attendee to confirm system requirements and test their computers prior to the start of the webinar and refunds will not be issued after an event has started. (Turn off your VPN if possible.) 

ONLINE PAYMENT "ERROR"

Some users are receiving an error "NOT AUTHORIZED" when entering their credit card number. This is caused by the VPN your organization is using for online protection. Please use a non-VPN device such as at Home or Library, etc., or contact the SIA Business Office for assistance at sia@siaed.org.

RECORDING By participating, you agree not to audio record or video record any part of the webinar under any circumstances unless you obtain express written permission from SIA.

SIA PROGRAMS - QUALIFICATION FOR CLE/CPE CREDITS

SIA Conferences and Seminars may qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits, depending upon the specific jurisdictional requirements. Please check your local jurisdiction.
