2020  SUMMER VIRTUAL BACK TO BASICS WEBINAR

Join SIA for its inaugural Summer Virtual Back to Basics webinar. This event is now available virtually as a 5 day package or through several individual sessions over 5 days. Attendees can attend all 5 days or each day separately. You choose! These sessions will provide attendees with the important first step to exporting articles on the United States Munitions List (USML) and the Commerce Control List (CCL) and the associated defense services and technology. These webinars are ideal for newcomers (less than 5 years of experience) to exporting under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Attendees will become familiar with the various types of licenses, agreements, exemptions and exceptions and the requirements and conditions associated with each. Come join us!

By participating you agree not to audio record or video record any part of the webinar under any circumstances unless you gain express written permission from SIA.


CANCELLATIONS

Notice of cancellation must be by email or phone. Please contact our Business Manager, Scott Garrison, scottgarrison@siaed.org or 703-946-5683.

  • Notice of cancellation: 2 business days prior to the course = 100% refund
  • Notice of cancellation: 0-1 business days prior to the course = No refund

Refund requests as a result of technical issues:

  • It is the responsibility of the attendee to confirm system requirements and test their computers prior to the start of the webinar.
  • If a technical failure at the attendee’s home or workplace prevents access to the live webinar,refunds will not be made. Please log into the event 30 minutes prior to the start time.


ONLINE PAYMENT "ERROR"

Some users are receiving an error "NOT AUTHORIZED" when entering their credit card number. This is caused by the VPN your organization is using for online protection.

SIA PROGRAMS - QUALIFICATION FOR CLE/CPE CREDITS

SIA Conferences and Seminars may qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits, depending upon the specific jurisdictional requirements. Please check your local jurisdiction.
