COVID PROTOCOLS
(dated: September 30, 2021)

We are excited to welcome our members and attendees back to SIA in-person conferences.  To make our return as safe as possible, SIA will implement the following COVID-19 protocols:

Face Mask Requirements

  • All attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the conference room during the conference.
  • When outside the conference room (during breaks, registration, etc.), attendees are asked to adhere to CDC, Arlington County, and Marriott guidelines.  These guidelines recommend all unvaccinated individuals wear masks and maximize social distancing when possible. Additional information is available here.

Social Distancing and Cleanliness

  • SIA has limited the total number of in-person attendees for this conference to allow for additional spacing between attendees and to support social distancing recommendations.
  • In addition, the Gateway Marriott will have hand sanitizer stations throughout the area.

Meals and Reception

  • Mask requirements will be consistent with CDC, Arlington County, and Marriott guidelines. SIA strongly encourages everyone to maximize spacing and utilize masks when not eating or drinking.

Finally

  • Please help keep our community healthy and safe and stay home if you are sick.
  • Please remember to be respectful of each other’s choices throughout the conference.

Thank you for looking out for each other, and thank you for your continued support to SIA.

Welcome back!

Sincerely,

Your SIA Board of Directors

Social Distancing and Cleanliness

  • SIA has limited the total number of in-person attendees for this conference to allow for additional spacing between attendees and to support social distancing recommendations. We expect to have only 2 persons at each 6 foot table.
